Kaitlyn Linsner (’20) Joins Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP

Kaitlyn M. Linsner (’20) is an associate at Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP in Chicago, IL.  Kaitlyn focuses her practice on Employment Litigation and Counseling, Environmental Law, and Commercial Litigation and Business Disputes.

While in law school, Kaitlyn served as the Editor-in-Chief of the NIU Law Review. She also worked as a graduate assistant for the College of Law’s Office of Career Opportunities and Professional Development where she was responsible for the Public Interest Law Society (PILS) Auction. This annual student-run event raises money for outreach assistantships awarded to dedicated students at the NIU College of Law who work in unpaid public interest legal positions during the summer. She received her J.D. summa cum laude in May 2020 and earned a graduate certificate in law and gender studies.

Kaitlyn is also an experienced professional with a background in journalism, public relations, event production, and performance art having worked in various industries and owned her own small business focused in sustainable fashion prior to beginning her legal career.
