Professor Maddali Organizes Conference on Immigration Law

Professor Anita Maddali was a member of the planning committee and attendee at the fourth biennial Emerging Immigration Law Scholars conference, which was held at Texas A&M University School of Law on May 18th and 19th, 2017. The conference included “panel discussions on teaching immigration law (doctrinal and clinical), scholarship and recent development in immigration law and policy,” according to the Texas A&M website. The theme for the conference was “New Realities.” Law school instructors are considered “emerging” scholars if they have fewer than eight years of teaching experience.
