The current display in the Marshall Gallery focuses on Public Papers of the Presidents, a publication that contains the speeches, letters, and other writings by United States Presidents. Public Papers of the Presidents is compiled by the Office of the Federal Register, a division of the National Archives and Records Administration. It is generally published twice each year.
The United States Presidents currently covered in Public Papers of the Presidents are Herbert Hoover, Harry S. Truman, Dwight D. Eisenhower, John F. Kennedy, Lyndon Johnson, Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, George H. W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama.
