Adam Vaught (’05) has been appointed by the Illinois Supreme Court to serve on the Illinois Judicial Conference (IJC). The IJC was recently reconstituted and the approval of several amendments were designed to create a smaller, more active and engaged IJC, which will be tasked with creating and implementing a long-term statewide Strategic Agenda for the judicial branch. The new IJC will be comprised of 29 voting members: 15 judges and 14 non-judges, with the Chief Justice serving as Chair.
Adam is a partner at the Chicago office of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP where he focuses his practice on professional liability defense and claims involving state and local government. He also has a substantial general appellate practice.
