Corey T. Hickman (’14) and Julie L. Trester, attorneys at Cozen O’Connor, recently won an asylum case for their client – a 21 year-old Mexican woman and three of her four children. According to the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin article, her case was first taken up by the National Immigrant Justice Center in Chicago, before it reached Hickman and Trester. Although the pair do not specialize in immigration law, they agreed to represent the woman and her children pro bono.
