Professors Falkoff and Jones Featured on Ask the Experts Post-Election Panel

NIU Law Professors Marc Falkoff and Robert Jones were featured on an Ask the Experts post-election roundtable moderated by NIU Executive Vice President and Provost Beth Ingram. The panel also included faculty from NIU’s Department of Political Science including Acting Chair and Professor Mitch Pickerill along with Professors April Clark and Scot Schraufnagel. The discussion comprised of questions from the audience on topics including voting procedures, legality of challenges, history of issues raised, candidate performance vs. polling performance, the effect of the pandemic on the election, and the impact of race and gender.

Professor Marc Falkoff joined the NIU Law faculty in 2006. His primary research and teaching interests are in the rule of law and the practice of public interest law. He teaches courses primarily in constitutional law, criminal law, criminal procedure, post-conviction remedies and the federal courts.

Associate Professor Robert Jones joined the NIU Law faculty in 2007.  He teaches civil procedure, evidence, constitutional law, conflict of laws, antitrust law, and the summer bar preparation course.
