Roman Ricker (’15) was appointed as a Magistrate Judge of Gibson County (Indiana) where he will serve as a Magistrate to both Superior and Circuit Courts. He will assume the position on July 1, 2021.
Roman is currently a partner with Partenheimer Kinkle & Ricker in Indiana. He is a general practice attorney with an emphasis in Real Estate Transactions and Criminal Law in Gibson County (Indiana) and multiple surrounding counties. He currently serves on the Criminal Justice Act Panel accepting federal criminal defense appointments from the U.S. District Court – Southern District of Indiana. He has also served as the Chairman for the Family Section in the Evansville Bar Association. In his new position as the Magistrate Judge, Roman will handle all Department of Child Services matters, parental termination trials, protection orders, small claims, traffic, and Pro Se Dissolutions (Divorces) as well as any conflict or consent criminal matters from the other Courts.
