Year after year, NIU Law graduates continue to be recognized among the country’s leading attorneys, reflecting the depth of skill, dedication, and excellence within our alumni community. According to the selection process, only five percent of nominated attorneys earn distinction as Super Lawyers or Rising Stars.
2026 Top 50 Women
For the third consecutive year, Attorney Lisa M. Nyuli (’89) was named amongst the Top 50 Women for Illinois attorneys. Since first practicing in 1989, Lisa offers comprehensive representation in family law matters, including divorce, custody, guardianship, guardian ad litem services, and collaborative law. A partner at Lengle & Nyuli, LLC in St. Charles, Illinois, Lisa navigates complex legal issues and provides cost-effective, responsive counsel.
Lisa is an active speaker and leader within the legal community. Her distinctions include serving as President of the Illinois Bar Foundation, the Kane County Bar Association, and the Kane County Bar Foundation, as well as six years on the Illinois State Bar Association Board of Governors. A Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, she has received multiple honors, including the Kane County Bar Association’s Family Law Achievement Award and NIU College of Law Alumnus of the Year.
