The NIU Law Student Bar Association will host Casino Night, an annual tradition that brings together alums, students and community members for a night of fun and fundrasing for the organization. Alumni and friends are cordially invited to attend the event that will be held during Homecoming Weekend on Friday, October 7 from 7:00-10 p.m. at the NIU College of Law in Swen Parson Hall.
The Student Bar Association also encourages support with sponsorship and/or raffle donations. According to SBA President Rob Harden, “Most of the student groups we support do not have national chapters to assist them with funding. Instead, the SBA provides funding to these groups to ensure that each has the resources they need to advance their respective causes.”
Come on out to experience the magic of blackjack, Texas hold’em, and roulette dealt by law professors. At the end of the night, all tickets that are won can be entered into a raffle for a variety of prizes.
Purchase tickets now. Tickets are $30 in advance and $40 at the door. Food and beverages are included. Playing chips are free. Please contact Rob Harden at rharden@niu.edu for tickets or with questions.
Also, join the College of Law for Tailgating with the Deans on Saturday, October 8 at the law school from 12-2 pm. Families are welcome. Food and drinks provided. RSVP to lawvents@niu.edu.
