Cassandra Crandall (’20) was published in the June 2020 issue of the Kane County Bar Association’s Bar Briefs. In her article, Leases and COVID-19: Navigating Challenges with Landlords and Tenants, Cassandra analyzes the early impact of the pandemic on landlord-tenant law and explores the impact of the pandemic on residential leases in Illinois.
Cassandra received her J.D. in May 2020. During her legal studies, she served as the Symposium Editor for the Northern Illinois University Law Review. Cassandra also worked as a law clerk and graduate assistant at the Northern Illinois University Students’ Legal Assistance Office for two years, focusing on helping students with landlord-tenant and criminal matters.
